SQ 2000 Symposium Activities Planner

"Learning To Build Sustainable, Innovative Communities for the 21st Century"

Goal

To cover the broad field of sustainability in a systemic interdependent approach covering its 3 major areas:

Economic Viability:  Management of our community and improving the effectiveness of the flow of money to realize a balanced healthy, wealthy society.
Ecological Stewardship:  Realizing our interdependence on all other Life and having a greater respect and care for our environment.
Social Responsibility:  Acceptance of group sharing, learning, and collaborating across individual status, race, capability, etc.

Strategy

Within the 3 areas of sustainability there are 12 categories of emphasis as determined by Local Agenda 21 which defines a framework for building sustainable learning communities.
